# Matt Guenther

> Matt Guenther (Matthew Guenther) is a technical leader and builder in Bentonville, in Northwest Arkansas. He has 20+ years in technology: Navy Information Systems Technician (2005–2011), systems administrator, front-end developer (Varidesk, PvP Live), then 7.5 years at Critical Start rising from Senior Cybersecurity Engineer to Senior Director of Managed Security Services, then Vice President of Services Strategy and AI at Stratascale (an SHI company, 2024–2025). These days he builds the tools he wishes existed (apps, browser extensions and Linux themes) and organizes the Omarchy NWA meetup. His through-line: he makes things for the communities he's part of, and has since running Angelfire and GeoCities fan sites as a teenager (Matt's Zeus Headquarters, NHL Heat, the E-Fed Source).
